We’re hosting a pitching event, where our #ZEBprogram Spring 2022 and Autumn 2021 graduates get to pitch to trained angel investors (who have gone through the Venture Backers Programme) for a chance to attract capital and commercial partnerships.
During the entrepreneurship training, our entrepreneurs worked on the following areas:
• Streamlining a sustainable business model,
• Creating innovative products or services,
• Defining their customer segments,
• Getting the pricing right,
• Defining the right distribution channels and marketing,
• Defining and discovering more revenue streams,
• Defining the costs structure of their business,
• Managing resources,
• Becoming investor-ready
• Preparing to pitch.
The pitchers come from the following sectors;
1. Agriculture
2. Technology
3. Renewable Energy
After pitching to the trained pool of angel investors, the investors will evaluate the ventures and choose which ones to invest in through our Pan-African member-driven special purpose investment vehicle, the Zidicircle Diaspora Investments Coop.
