This programme is aimed at training aspiring venture backers (angel investors) on how to invest in startups and SMEs in Africa.

Over 100 Angel investors from the diaspora have been trained. As a result, companies like: The Ghanaian Startup, Uvuko Plastics, Raised Funding from Diaspora Angels to Manage and Recycle Plastic Waste in Ghana.

This programme has attracted major professionals from multinational organizations with diverse expertise. Some of the organizations represented during the training included: JP Morgan, Tesla, HubSpot, MEST, PNB Paribus, Alpha FMC, PASS LLC, GIPC, NAMFISA, and Brussels Africa Hub among others. It’s a networking opportunity as well.

In 2022 72 entrepreneurs pitched to the graduated venture backers and 40 of them are undergoing the due diligence process.

Once the venture backers complete their training, they commit to finance our pipeline of investor-ready businesses through the member-backed investment vehicle, Zidicircle Coop
