Starting entrepreneurs

This is an online programme for starting entrepreneurs who are keen to generate their ideas into a sustainable business model. Through various modules, the entrepreneur assembles all resources needed to start a business.

Through various modules, entrepreneurs are able to:
  • Business Model Creation

  • Proof of business concept

  • Product or service design

  • Customer targeting & segmentation

  • Revenues & costs structures

  • Achieve Minimum Viable products

  • Learning materials/videos on the Learning platform

  • Bi-weekly online sessons with experts

  • individual & group assignments

  • Practice pitching Session

  • Completion certificate

  • Time commitment of 2.5 hours per week for 6 weeks

Growth entrepreneurs

This bootcamp targets growth stage entrepreneurs with operational businesses and paying customers, often with a minimum of two years in existence with specific business pain points. It also included businesses that are ready to scale and enter new markets and need new partnerships and funding to get to the next level.
Through various modules, entrepreneurs are able to:

  • Scan their business model to see what works or doesn't work for their business

  • discover new revenue streams

  • Identify growth catalysts for their business

  • Identify the stage of growth and Funding gaps

  • Project revenues and value the business

  • learning materials/videos on Zidi School platform

  • By-weekily online sessions with business experts

  • Individual & groups assignments

  • Pitching to investors and partners

Who are the Zidicircle Entrepreneurship Bootcamps for?

Our bootcamps target aspiring and existing diaspora entrepreneurs and African SME’s at idea, growth or scale up  stage who want to grow sustainable businesses in their host country or country of origin.

Entrepreneurs can join online bootcamps from anywhere in the world. All our blended bootcamps have a possibility of streaming live sessions, so it is also possible to follow. We advise applicants to check the mode of delivery and regional criteria to get them most suited bootcamp for their needs.

How long has Zidi offered Bootcamps

For the past 8 years, Zidi has offered various bootcamps within europe and Africa, and most recently during covid-19, our programmes went global with diaspora entrepreneurs joining from across the globe. 

To-date, Zidi has directly reached over 4500 diaspora via various programmes.

What kind of businesses do you onboard?
  • Idea stage businesses, with a well-thought-out plan (which is yet to be tested and implemented), a couple of founders and want to get the business off the ground
  • Growth stage businesses with a minimum viable product at early testing, have early sales traction (with no repeatable sales model) and are looking into having a financing round focusing on key business and product functionality development.
  • Most recently scaling businesses who are looking for new markets, partnerships and funding needed to scale.

We are sector pragmatic with emphasis on  Green Economy, Tech for good, sustainable manufacturing industries, and Social economy enterprises.

How much does the programme cost?

The bootcamp is made possible by our generous impact partners  who cover most of the costs. However, participants are requested to make a commitment payment of 250 Euros before the start of the programme
